Ang Swee Ching is the founder and managing director of Alleati Consulting Sdn. Bhd., has successfully delivered large-scale consulting engagements in the areas of corporate-wide business transformation, mergers and acquisitions, organisational restructuring and operational optimisation.

Alleati’s portfolio of clients include prominent names in both the public and private sector such as PEMANDU (Government of Tanzania), BAT, AmBank, RHB, Alliance Bank and GHL.

Swee Ching began her career in Accenture where she spent 7 years providing consultancy services in the Financial Services industry. Specialising in Mergers & Acquisitions and transformations, her projects spanned 7 Financial Institutions across Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. The clients she serviced include OCBC Bank, Bank Bali, Maybank, RHB, Alliance Bank, AmBank and Takaful Nasional.

Thereafter, she joined BAT Malaysia as part of their extended Leadership Team, holding several positions throughout her 4-year tenure primarily directing Strategic Projects. In 2004, she setup the Asia Pacific Finance Shared Service for the group, from the point of incorporation to migrating of services for Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan, whilst integrating processes with Belgium and the UK. She subsequently headed the newly established unit as the acting General Manager.

In total, her 18 years of consulting and commercial experience included leading cross-cultural teams, embracing diversity across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Tanzania, UK and Belgium.

Swee Ching holds a degree in Business with a major in Accounting & Finance from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (graduated with Distinction) and is an associate member of the Australia Society of Certified Practising Accountants (ASCPA).
